VSO Alternatives:

  • Submit an intent to file (VA Form 21-0966)
    Lock your effective date: File an Intent to File on the VA Website immediately. This secures today’s date for potential back pay while you wait for your VSO appointment. This acts as a placeholder while you wait for an opening with a professional advocate.
